About the Process

Texas Culinary Academy welcomes applications from students who’s academic and personal records demonstrate an interest in hospitality careers and who can benefit from the culinary training we offer. Students should apply for admission as soon as possible in order to be accepted for a specific program and starting date.

All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an Admissions representative, either in person or by telephone, depending on their distance from TCA. Parents and/or significant others are encouraged to attend. This gives applicants and their families an opportunity to meet the school's faculty and staff, see its equipment and facilities, and ask questions about the curriculum and career objectives.

Personal interviews also enable school administrators to determine whether an applicant is a candidate for enrollment in the program.

Who Attends TCA?

TCA brings students together from around the world who share a passion for the culinary arts. Our students' backgrounds are rich and diverse. Some may be making a career change; some may have recently graduated from high school or transferred from a community college or university; while others may be experienced in the food industry and seeking to improve their skills.

International Students

International students are encouraged to apply for admission. All applicants must meet the same admission requirements as U.S. citizens.
